A Day In Ancient Hoa Lu & Tam Coc
Hoa Lu, 100 kms in southward of Ha Noi, which is the an ancient capital of Vietnam under the Dinh Dynasty between AD 968 and AD 980. Come to visit Hoa Lu, you can learn about some of the sanctuaries and tombs have completely remained intact through all the wars and the Vietnamese historical aspects. Tam Coc is also a place of astounding natural beauty with limestone peaks and you will understand why it is open refered to as Ha Long Bay on land . The highlight of the trip is taking a local rowboat on the Boi River, floating between the towering limestones out crops and traveling through three beautiful caves and making for a truly unforgettable experience.

Our tour starts in Hanoi at 8:00AM. After 2 hours driving southward of Hanoi, we will visit Bich Dong Pagoda to see the whole scenery of the mountains, waterways, fields, and sky covered in green mist. From the upper pagoda, one has the most magnificent view of Bich Dong, which is romantically charming in terms of architecture and history. The location for this pagoda was chosen in 1428 after two monks were charmed by the view of the river and the mountains.
We cannot visit Bich Dong Pagoda without visiting Tam Coc Grotto, located approximately 2km from the pagoda. Tam Coc is 3km from Van Lam Wharf.
Take a boat from Van Lam Wharf to reach the Tam Coc Grotto, consisting of the Hang Ca, Hang Hai and Hang Ba grottoes. These caves are adorned with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites of different shapes and colors that sparkle like gemstones.
After having a delicious Vietnamese lunch, we will visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital with 2 temples of the Kings Dinh and Le. Then we diver back to Hanoi. Tour ends around 6.00PM.
